OVERtired.
Won me OVER.
OVERachiever.
OVER the moon.
OVER my head.
OVERjoyed.
OVERwhelmed.
These are all things I have felt since becoming a mom. There were times when the OVERwhelmed outweighed the OVERjoyed feelings, and there were definitely times I was OVER it. But one of the things I’ve always tried to do here is talk about ALL the moments – the good, the bad, the ugly-cry moments. I just think it’s important that we talk about how it really is.
I’m always glad to see companies doing that too (and, frankly, there aren’t enough of them that do anything other than make motherhood out to be the most beautiful thing since your wedding day). That’s what Fisher Price is doing with their Million Moments of Joy campaign.
Despite the name, this campaign is meant to celebrate the real moments of motherhood – the ones we all experience whether they’re good, bad, scary, stressful or just plain ridiculous.
I’ve shared my moments with them on the Million Moments of Joy website and they’d like to invite you to do the same for a chance to win some cool stuff. The contest (which is open to Canadian residents) is open until April 29, 2013, and there will be a weekly prize pack worth approximately $200 that includes:
- My Little Snugabunny™ Bouncer ($89.99 CAD)
- Laugh & Learn™ Dance & Play Puppy ($59.99 CAD)
- Ocean Wonders™ Aquarium ($54.99 CAD)
I loved going through my pictures to decide which ones I wanted to share as a representation of my moments of joy and I hope you do too.
Disclosure – I am participating in the Million Moments of Joy Blogger Campaign by Mom Central Canada on behalf of Fisher-Price. I received compensation as a thank you for participating and for sharing my honest opinion. The opinions on this blog are my own.
